This innovative exploration led to the development of a CFST structure that surpasses the conventional steel structure in terms of adaptability, cost-effectiveness, and fire resistance. The crowning achievement of this endeavor was the completion of the first-ever high-rise building utilizing the rectangular CFST structure at Ruifeng International Commercial Building. Recognized and celebrated as part of the China Torch Program, this project revolutionized traditional reinforced concrete construction methodologies. It addressed critical challenges such as enhancing the fire resistance of steel structures and demonstrated outstanding seismic and fire resistance capabilities. This remarkable accomplishment not only solidified Hangxiao Steel Structure's standing as a technical leader in the realm of high-rise steel structures but also defined a distinct technical system characterized by Hangxiao Steel Structure's innovations, propelling the evolution of high-rise steel structure architecture across China.
