Despite the challenging conditions of having 'no precedent and no standard,' they embarked on groundbreaking research into 'a complete set of rectangular CFST structures.' This innovative journey led to the development of CFST structures that boast superior applicability, economic benefits, and enhanced fire resistance compared to traditional pure steel structures. The crowning achievement was the completion of the first high-rise building featuring rectangular CFST structure at the Ruifeng International Commercial Building. This remarkable project was recognized as part of the China Torch Program, fundamentally transforming traditional reinforced concrete construction methods and addressing the critical challenge of improving the fire resistance of steel structures. With impressive seismic and fire-resistant capabilities, this project's successful execution firmly established Hangxiao Steel Structure's technical authority in the high-rise steel structure domain.
