1. Pre-Packaging Preparations
Surface Treatment

Ensure steel surfaces are impeccably cleaned to eliminate oil, welding slag, burrs, and other residues.
Apply a protective layer of rust-preventive oil or temporary anti-rust agents, such as VCI vapor corrosion inhibitor film. This is especially critical on welds and cut edges that are highly susceptible to corrosion.
Sorting & Labeling

For extra-long components, like columns over 12 meters, employ temporary steel channel supports at both ends to prevent bending.
