Collaborating closely with Zhejiang University and Tongji University-despite facing the unprecedented challenges of 'no precedent and no standard'-they conducted pioneering research on a complete rectangular CFST (Concrete-Filled Steel Tube) structure. This innovative approach, superior to pure steel structures, offered enhanced applicability, cost-effectiveness, and fire resistance. The first high-rise marvel utilizing this rectangular CFST structure was realized in the Ruifeng International Commercial Building. This project was proudly recognized as part of the China Torch Program, revolutionizing traditional reinforced concrete construction methods by significantly boosting the fire resistance of steel structures. The project's triumph solidified Hangxiao Steel Structure's technical prowess in the high-rise steel structure domain, establishing a distinctive technical system imbued with Hangxiao's unique characteristics and propelling the evolution of high-rise steel structure buildings across China.
