In the year 2000, Hangxiao Steel Structure proudly led a groundbreaking initiative, breaking the international monopoly on technical advancements. In a triumphant collaboration with Zhejiang University and Tongji University, and facing unprecedented challenges with no pre-existing standards, we embarked on a mission to research a comprehensive set of rectangular CFST structures. This pioneering endeavor resulted in the development of the CFST structure, offering outstanding applicability, economic advantages, and superior fire resistance compared to conventional steel structures. Our journey reached a remarkable milestone with the completion of the first high-rise building utilizing rectangular CFST structures at Ruifeng International Commercial Building. This project was recognized under the prestigious China Torch Program, revolutionizing traditional reinforced concrete construction methods and addressing the critical issue of enhancing steel structure fire resistance. Renowned for its exceptional seismic and fire-resistant properties, this innovative project has solidified the technical stature of Hangxiao Steel Structure in the high-rise steel structure domain. It established a unique technical system characterized by Hangxiao's distinct expertise, spearheading the evolution of high-rise steel structure buildings across China.
