1. Pre-Packaging Preparations
Surface Treatment

Clean steel surfaces to remove oil, welding slag, burrs, etc.
Apply rust-preventive oil or temporary anti-rust agents (e.g., VCI vapor corrosion inhibitor film), especially on welds and cut edges prone to corrosion.
Sorting & Labeling

Group components by type (beams, columns, plates, etc.), size, and installation sequence, with clear markings matching the drawings.
